Esa-Oke Community and OSCOTECH Resolve Crisis, Pave Way for Unity and Progress

The long-standing crisis between the Esa-Oke community and the Osun State College of Technology (OSCOTECH) has finally been resolved.

The resolution took place at the palace of the Owaomiran of Esa-Oke, Oba Adeyemi Adediran, where the monarch and his chiefs urged all Esa-Oke sons and daughters to move past any acrimony against the Chairman of OSCOTECH, Prince Diran Odeyemi.

They emphasized the importance of cooperation to elevate the college to new heights.

During the meeting, Oba Adeyemi Adediran appealed to all Esa-Oke indigenes to collaborate with the Governing Council and Management of OSCOTECH to ensure the institution maintains its esteemed status among its peers.

The monarch reassured Prince Diran Odeyemi of his and the community’s support in raising the college to international standards.

The Chairman of the Esa-Oke Central Union also spoke, urging everyone to forget past grievances and focus on fostering peaceful coexistence to achieve greatness for both the college and the community.

In his response, Prince Diran Odeyemi highlighted ongoing efforts to transform OSCOTECH Esa-Oke into a world-class institution.

He expressed his commitment to making the college one of the best state institutions in the country and emphasized his close ties with many notable indigenes of Esa-Oke.

Prince Diran Odeyemi called for the community’s cooperation and reaffirmed his dedication to the development of OSCOTECH.

He also thanked the Commissioner for Education, Honourable Dipo Eluwole, for his support and assured the Osun State Government of his continued hard work for the betterment of the state’s education sector.

The meeting concluded with prayers from the Owaomiran for Prince Diran Odeyemi, attended by all members of the college’s governing board and management.
