The family of Olowu has announced the final burial arrangements for their beloved matriarch, Madam Victoria Morohunkeji Olowu, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the age of 86.
According to the family’s release, the burial rites will commence next week, beginning on Thursday, April 17, 2025, with a Christian Wake and Service of Songs at her residence, located at Oke Alafia, Irojo Quarters, Ilesa by five in the evening .
The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the C&S Church, Oke-Ooye, Ilesa, Osun State, starting at 10:00 a.m. This will be immediately followed by interment at her residence.
Guests will later be entertained at Tadash Event Centre, Ilerin Road, Osun Ankara, Irojo, Ilesa.
The family has extended an open invitation to friends, relatives, and well-wishers to join them in celebrating the life and legacy of Madam Olowu.
