Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has been formally conferred with the title of Grand Patron of the Ijesa Oasis Club, in recognition of his impactful leadership and developmental strides across the state.

The honour was presented during a courtesy visit to the Governor’s Office in Osogbo on Tuesday by the President of the Ijesa Oasis Club, ESV (Dr.) Victor M. Ayeye, alongside other senior members of the club.

Welcoming the delegation, Governor Adeleke expressed heartfelt appreciation for the recognition and commended the club for its values of resilience, enterprise, and strong community spirit.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fast-tracking development initiatives in Ijesaland and beyond.

He said, “I am truly honoured by your visit and deeply touched by your kind words of appreciation.

“Among other deliveries of good infrastructure to Ijesa Land, the dual carriageway in Ilesa is more than a road project; it is a symbol of respect and investment in the future of Ijesa land. I am humbled to be the first Governor to deliver such infrastructure in this historic and vibrant part of our state.

“Ijesa people have always been known for their resilience, enterprise, and deep sense of community. Your club represents those values and I commend your unwavering efforts to support this administration especially by fostering unity among our people.

“Our administration believes that every zone in Osun deserves visible progress. What we have started in Ilesa is just the beginning. We will continue to deliver quality projects that touch lives, open up communities, and create lasting impact.

“This administration will leave no stone unturned to ensure that our good dreams and aspirations for Ijasa land and Osun State come to reality in the shortest possible time.”

Speaking on behalf of the prestigious socio cultural and development focused organisation, Dr Ayeye praised the governor for his transformational leadership that places people at the heart of governance.
