BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION: ODOLE FAMILY HONOURS AJIROWA ADIMULA OF IJESALAND CHIEF LATEEF BAKARE

In the spirit of celebration and deep-rooted family tradition, the Odole family has honoured one of its most respected elders, Chief Lateef Bakare FCA.

Chief Bakare, who holds the revered title of Ajirowa Adimula of Ijesaland, was presented with specially designed caps by Oba Olanrewaju Oladele, the Aloba of Iloba, on behalf of the entire Odole family.

The presentation took place at the residence of Chief Lateef Bakare on Tuesday in Ilesa ahead of his grand birthday celebration slated for July 5.

Oba Olanrewaju Oladele described the gesture as a token of appreciation and recognition of Chief Bakare’s outstanding leadership, humility, and unwavering support to both the family and the wider Ijesa community.

“We are proud of Baba Bakare. He is not just a leader in title but one who has shown the way through his character and contributions. This small token represents our collective love and respect for him,” Oladele said during the presentation.

He also led a prayer session, asking God to continue to strengthen and bless Chief Bakare with more years of good health, peace, and fulfilment.

Responding, Chief Lateef Bakare expressed heartfelt gratitude to the family, noting that the show of love and unity meant more to him than words could describe.

He urged all members of the family and community to continue upholding the values of peace, respect, and service to humanity.
