When you want to convey the message of “We’re in control; only we can handle this,” you would have both a Chairman and a Vice Chairman listed on the same invitation. Additionally, include a paid staff member as the secretary instead of the committee secretary.
Typically, the protocol for this kind of invitation involves having the Chairman, the PRO, and the Committee Secretary respond.
When you’ve overstayed in a position, your ideas tend to lose their freshness.
The Ijebu community is enthusiastically promoting the Ojude Oba festival, while the Egba people are enhancing the celebration of the Lisabi festival.
The Osogbo community has successfully elevated the Osun Osogbo festival as a UNESCO-recognized event, and the Ikorodu people have established Ikorodu Oga as their hallmark festival.

This year, we strongly encourage everyone to promote the Iwude Ijesa Festival rather than the ‘Ijesa Unity Carnival.’
The Iwude Ijesa Festival holds great significance for us and is a tribute to our Owa. Last year, in honor of late Oba Aromolaran, who sadly passed away shortly before the festival, we referred to the celebration as the Ijesa Unity Carnival. We felt it was inappropriate to proceed without Oba on the throne Now that our respected Owa Clement Adesuyi Haastrup Ajimoko is on the throne, thanks to divine grace, it is essential to revert to the festival’s original name and parade. The distinction of calling it the Ijesa Unity Carnival aims to separate the parade from the core essence of the Iwude Festival, which could undermine its true significance and we all know the reason they want to make it soWe collectively agreed upon the Iwude Ijesa Festival/Parade, not the Ijesa Unity Carnival. Labeling our signature festival as a carnival trivializes its importance.
Let’s come together to celebrate the Iwude Ijesa Festival and pay homage to our Imperial Majesty and Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, Alayeluwa Owa Clement Adesuyi Haastrup Ajimoko III.
