‎Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi to New IYF Executives: Your Emergence Is a Call to Serve with Passion and Integrity‎‎‎

The Asiwaju of Ijesaland, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi, has described the emergence of the newly elected members of the National Executive Council of the Ijesa Youth Forum (IYF) as a defining moment and a call to service, charging them to lead with integrity, vision, and purpose.‎‎

In a congratulatory letter addressed to the Group’s President-elect, Prince Adeleye Adebusuyi Tobiloba, and other members of his team on Monday, Asiwaju Fasuyi praised the confidence reposed in them by Ijesa youths, adding that their election reflects the trust in their capabilities and commitment to progress.‎‎

The newly elected executives are Prince Adeleye Adebusuyi Tobiloba as President, Gbadamosi Aderonke as Vice President, and Fagbowore Medayese Tobiloba as General Secretary.‎‎

Ajewole Adedamola takes the role of Assistant General Secretary, with Adeyemi Sunday serving as Treasurer, and Aniya Joshua Abiodun as Financial Secretary.

‎‎The Public Relations Officers are Adebowale Opeyemi (P.R.O 1) and Bepo Joy (P.R.O 2).‎‎

Others include Ajilore Victor as Director of Mobilization, Okunola Salawat Omolara as Director of Women Affairs and Social Development, and Aderinwale Okiki as Director of Welfare and Sports.‎‎

Asiwaju Fasuyi, who acknowledged the contributions of the outgoing executives, thanked them for their service and foundation-laying efforts.‎‎

While calling for immediate action from the new IYF Executives, the Chairman of Ijesa Community Development Assembly (ICDA) recommended key priorities for the new leadership, including the creation of a comprehensive youth database for effective planning, periodic progress reports based on campaign promises to build trust, and the implementation of measurable, impact-driven programs tailored to empower Ijesa youths and promote development across Ijesaland.

‎‎“The expectations from the Ijesa community are high,” Asiwaju Fasuyi noted. “Our land yearns for a youth body that is visionary, strategic, united, and impactful. Let every initiative undertaken be people-focused and result-oriented.”‎‎

He assured the new leadership of his unwavering support and called for unity within the team, emphasizing that the youth must now rise as a transformative force in Ijesaland.‎‎

“May wisdom guide your decisions, courage shape your actions, and unity bind your team together. Let the new dawn for Ijesa youths begin!” he said.‎‎
