The Executive Director of Projects Implementation at the Federal Housing Authority, Engineer Remi Omowaiye, has marked his birthday with acts of generosity, paying off the medical bills of several patients at the Wesley Guild Unit of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC) in Ilesa today.

The former Osun State Commissioner for Works during the administration of Former Governor Gboyega Oyetola who is currently the Minister for Marine and Blue Economy covered the hospital expenses amounting to millions of naira, offering relief to patients who had been stranded due to financial constraints.
Represented by Honourable Taiwo Ogunmokun and Honourable Obisesan Olasunkanmi, Omowaiye described the gesture as a way of giving back to society and supporting people in critical moments.

Speaking on his behalf, the duo said the gesture reflects Engineer Omowaiye’s belief that birthdays should not just be about celebrations but also an opportunity to touch lives and uplift the needy.
Some of the beneficiaries, overwhelmed with gratitude, shared how the intervention came at a time when all hope seemed lost.
In addition to the hospital bill intervention, Engineer Omowaiye also extended food support to no fewer than 400 widows and widowers in Ilesa, who received various food items at a brief event held at his office.
The outreach is part of his consistent efforts to mark his birthday with humanitarian gestures, a practice that has earned him encomium and recognition within and beyond his immediate community
