‎Egbe Bobakeye Okunrin Adimula of Ijesaland Adopts New Constitution, Vows to Enhance Unity and Progress‎‎‎‎

‎One of the foremost age groups in Ijesaland, Egbe Bobakeye Okunrin Adimula of Ijesaland, has officially adopted its new constitution, marking what leaders and members of the group described as a historic milestone for unity, structure, and progressive governance within the association.‎‎

The constitution, which received overwhelming support from members through a 50%+1 vote, was also unanimously endorsed by the Egbe Executives and the Central Development Committee (CDC).

‎‎According to a statement jointly signed by Aare Egbe, Arc. Timothy Asaolu; Akowe Egbe, Prince Sola Adekunle; Prince Apesinola Mabayoje-Ojo (CDC Chairman); and Adedamola Adedeji (CDC Secretary), the new constitution takes effect immediately from August 20, 2025.‎‎

The statement emphasized that the constitution would serve as the guiding framework for operational, leadership, and developmental activities within the Egbe.‎‎

It expressed deep appreciation to the Constitution Committee for their diligence and wisdom in drafting the document, as well as to all members who overwhelmingly voted “YES” during the adoption process.

‎‎While assuring members that all comments and suggestions submitted during the review process had been documented and would be considered for necessary corrections and updates the statement said “With unity and a renewed sense of purpose, we begin this new chapter built on a strong, transparent foundation.
