The Komolafe Agbamola family has announced the funeral arrangements for their beloved patriarch, Pa Johnson Akinola Komolafe, who passed away peacefully in the Lord on 26th February 2025, at the age of 99.
The late Pa Komolafe, born in 1926, was widely respected in Ijesaland and beyond for his wisdom, humility, and unwavering commitment to community values.
A series of activities have been lined up to honour his memory and celebrate his impactful life
On Wednesday, 18th June 2025, A commendation service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, Oke-Ibode, Osun State, starting at 10 in the morning.
On Thursday, 19th June 2025, His body will lie in state at his residence, W78A Orinkiran Street, Ilesa, Osun State, from 12 in the afternoon, followed by a wake keep service at Holy Trinity Cathedral, Omole Estate, Ilesa, beginning at 4 in the evening .
On Friday, 20th June 2025, The burial and outing service will take place at Holy Trinity Cathedral, Omole, Ilesa, at ten in the morning, after which interment will follow immediately at his residence.
Guests will be entertained at Zenababs Half Moon Resorts, Ijebu-Jesa Road, Ilesa, Osun State.
