The people of Erin-Oke Kingdom gathered in large numbers to celebrate a historic milestone—the coronation and presentation of the Staff of Office to their new monarch, Oba Akintola Imran Ayodeji, Akintulurese Ilufemiloye I, the Alua of Erin-Oke Kingdom.
The grand event, attended by dignitaries, sons and daughters of Erin-Oke, and well-wishers from far and near, showcased the unity, rich cultural heritage, and resilience of the Erin-Oke people.
A Release issued by the Erin-Oke Development Association (EDA), under the leadership of Alhaji Bisiriyu Osunsusi-Idowu through its Secretary Mr. Omolebi Sunday Segun Tunde, the association expressed deep gratitude to all individuals and groups who contributed to the success of the ceremony. “We stand as one, united by history, language, and a shared vision for progress,” the statement read.
It emphasized the immense effort and dedication put into making the coronation a success.
The Statement acknowledged the contributions of various individuals, committees, and sponsors who played vital roles in ensuring the event’s success, describing it as a “testament to the enduring spirit of Erin-Oke.”
Special recognition was given to the Planning Committee, led by Dr. Timi Osunmakinde, as well as various subcommittees—including Publicity, Protocols, Security, Media, and Fundraising Teams—for their tireless efforts in ensuring the seamless execution of the coronation.
The EDA also extended appreciation to all donors, sponsors, and attendees who supported the event financially and morally.
As Oba Akintola Imran Ayodeji assumes the throne, the people of Erin-Oke have pledged their unwavering support to his reign, vowing to work together to build a brighter and more prosperous future for the kingdom.
