The family of Late Mrs. Mewolaka Olatomi Modupe Saseyi (née Akinola), DL.DIP.TH has announced the programme of events for her funeral.
Born on 7th May 1933, the late matriarch is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a respected women leader in Ijesa community.
According to a release by the family, the funeral rites will commence with a Commendation Service at the Church of the Messiah (Anglican Church Communion), Ilesha, on 3rd September 2025.
A Wake Keep will follow on 4th September 2025 at 4:00 pm at St. John’s Cathedral, Iloro Church Hall, Ilesha.
The Funeral Service will take place at St. John’s Cathedral, Iloro, Ilesha, on 5th September 2025 at 11:00 am, after which the reception will hold immediately at The Zenababs Half Moon Resort Limited, Prince Oladele Olasore Way, Ilo Aiyegunle.
