The Famurewa and Amure Oyefin families have announced the funeral arrangements for their matriarch, Deaconess Hannah Oluwafunke Famurewa JP.
A Release by the Children of the Deceased indicates that the funeral ceremony, described as a celebration of a life well spent, is set to take place on the 27th and 28th of February 2025 in Ilesa, Osun State.
According to the family, the program of events will commence on Thursday, February 27, 2025, with a lying-in-state at 328 Ogudu Street, Ilesa.
This will be followed by a service of songs at Ilesa Grammar School at 4 p.m.
The burial service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Rest Park & Garden (Hall) in Ilesa, beginning at 9 a.m. Immediately after the service, interment will take place at the same venue.
A thanksgiving service will be held at Christ Apostolic Church, Zonal Headquarters, Ifosan, Ilesa while reception is scheduled to follow at Faseru Civic Center, off Ijebu-Jesa Road, Ilesa, at 2 p.m.
Deaconess Hannah Oluwafunke Famurewa JP, who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 92 is survived by Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren .
