Final rites of passage for the renowned business mogul in Ijesaland, Adesanya Apalara, popularly known as Apasco Foams, began today, marking the commencement of activities lined up to honour his impactful life and legacy.
Family members, friends, associates, and notable figures across Ijesaland today gathered at the Adonai Event Centre for the Wake Keep to pay their last respects to the man many described as a visionary entrepreneur and a pillar of community development.
Late Apalara, who passed away in December 2025, was widely celebrated for his business acumen, philanthropy, and unwavering commitment to the growth of Ijesaland.
Through Apasco Foams, he contributed significantly to the local economy, providing employment opportunities and supporting several charitable causes.
Activities continue tomorrow with a Funeral Service scheduled for 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Omofe, Ilesa while Interment will follow immediately at his residence, Powerline, off Ibala Road, Ilesa.
Reception will be held at Zenabab Half Moon Resort, Ijebu-Jesa Road, Ilo-Ilesa.
