Born in Igangan-Ijesa, Osun State, Mr. Obembe has over the years built a reputation as a unifying figure within the diaspora community, actively supporting cultural preservation and strengthening ties between Nigerians abroad and their roots at home.
The golden jubilee celebration drew a high-profile crowd of community leaders and professionals.
Among those present were Mr. Tunde Falode, President of the Osun State Union; Barrister Falode, Legal Adviser of the Union; Prince Sunday Adewusi, Vice President of the Union; and Bobakeye Joshua Ogundipe, alongside several others who came to honour the celebrant.
