Staff and patients celebrated at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa on Wednesday, December 20 2023 after a foremost Ijesaland Women Organisation based in the United Kingdom known as Ijesa Excel Ladies UK installed solar power panels in the medical center .
Speaking on behalf of the Management and Patients of OAUTHC, Wesley Guild Hospital Ilesa, the Unit Administrator, Wesley Guild Hospital, Oladimeji Johnson Ayoola, Unit Head, Wesley Guild Hospital, Oluwasanmi G.O and the Physician in Charge, Dr Olowookere appreciated the kind gesture of Ijesa Excel Ladies UK saying the solar system installation will go a long way in facilities management, safety and total illumination of the Hospital wards.
They added that the whole Wesley Guild Hospital could not hide their joy as a result of the Solar system donations made by Ijesa Excel Ladies.
Speaking on behalf of the Ijesa Excel Ladies UK, The President of the Association Mrs Toyin Origbemi said The Association will not rest on its oars in its contributions to the development and growth of Ijesaland
She also sent her congratulatory message to the Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, Oba Dr Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran as Ijesaland celebrates this year’s Iwude Ijesa Festival
Ijesa Excel Ladies UK has participated in similar projects across the nook and cranny of Ijesaland
