The Alamuye of Amuye-Faforiji, Oba Adebayo Faforiji, has extended warm felicitations to the people of Osun State and Governor Ademola Adeleke as the state marks its 34th anniversary.
In his goodwill message, the monarch described the anniversary as both a celebration of history and a reminder of the sacrifices made by the founding fathers who laboured for the creation of Osun in 1991.
Oba Faforiji applauded Governor Adeleke for what he called “remarkable strides across key sectors,” noting visible progress in infrastructure renewal, improved workers’ welfare, better health care delivery, reforms in education, investment in the digital economy, and renewed attention to rural development.
He added that the governor’s emphasis on transparency and accountability reflects the Omoluabi ethos for which Osun is known.

The royal father further praised the resilience of Osun indigenes at home and abroad, pointing out that their unity and contributions remain central to the state’s growth.
“As we celebrate Osun @34, we must not only remember the heroes of the past but also strengthen our resolve to build a state anchored on peace, progress, and inclusiveness,” Oba Faforiji said.
He called on stakeholders to continue rallying behind government-driven initiatives and prayed for God’s guidance and wisdom for Governor Adeleke, so he can build on the current gains and deliver even greater dividends of democracy in the years ahead.
