The Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, His Imperial Majesty Owa Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Ajimoko III, has showered encomiums on the Asiwaju of Ijesaland, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi, for his unwavering patriotism and enduring love for the progress and unity of Ijesaland.
OWA AJIMOKO gave the commendation when Asiwaju Fasuyi paid him a courtesy visit to personally present an invitation to his upcoming 70th birthday celebration.
The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
Speaking during the visit, The Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland expressed admiration for the Asiwaju’s consistent contributions, alongside other prominent elites, to the ongoing transformation of Ijesaland.
The Revered monarch noted that he often listened with pride whenever the achievements of the Asiwaju and other leaders were highlighted, praising their dedication to the unity and advancement of the land.
Owa Haastrup also offered prayers for all the elites working tirelessly for Ijesaland’s rapid development, emphasizing that their collective efforts have elevated the status of the kingdom to new heights.
In his remarks, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi reiterated the commitment of the Ijesa Community Development Association to supporting Owa Ajimoko III, particularly in the success of his coronation ceremonies.
He added that he personally extended the invitation to the Owa because of his reverence for him as a father figure and custodian of Ijesa culture and traditions.
Asiwaju Fasuyi was accompanied on the visit by a high-powered delegation, including the Elegboro of Ijebu-Jesa, the Ogboni of Ilesa, the Alaa of Ila-Ijesa, the Awaraja of Iwaraja, the Yeyerise of Ilesa, the Onitegun of Itegun-Ijesa, Chief Afolabi Igbaroola, Alagba Wale Idowu, Mr. Bukola Fadipe, Chief Olatunbosun, and Erelu Jumoke Olafadehan, among others.
