In a determined effort to combat youth unemployment and expand technical competence among young people in Ijesaland, the Prince Sunday Adewusi Foundation (PSAF), in partnership with Stream Solar Engineering, on Friday conducted an intensive training session on Solar, CCTV camera, and Satellite Dish installations at the Ilesa Social Elites Club Hall, Isokun, Ilesa.
The hands-on training by Engr. Babatunde John Olayinka, CEO of Stream Solar Engineering, exposed the participants to both theoretical and practical aspects of modern installation techniques.
Speaking during the program, the Founder and President of PSAF, Prince Sunday Adewusi who was represented by Mr. Ola Aluko and Mr. Sunday Odeyemi encouraged the trainees to take the program seriously, noting that such opportunities reflect the commitment of the facilitator and the philanthropic generosity of Prince Adewusi toward youth development.
Also Speaking, The National General Secretary of the Ijesa Youth Forum Comrade Medayese Fagbowore applauded Engr. Olayinka for delivering a robust and effective training.
He also commended Prince Adewusi for his unwavering support to Ijesa youths, describing the initiative as timely and strategic.
Similarly, Hon. Sunday Amure, an Ilesa youth leader, expressed satisfaction in participating stressing that the skills acquired could serve as an additional source of livelihood for many.
He, however, lamented the low turnout and appealed for another training session to accommodate those who missed out.
Participants drawn from different communities across Ijesaland expressed gratitude to both PSAF and Stream Solar Engineering for the life-changing opportunity while Certificates of Participation were issued electronically to all attendees at the end of the program.
According to participants, the five-hour session was enlightening, detailed, and highly impactful.
