The Ijesa Oasis Club (IOC), a newly formed socio-cultural and development-focused organization, held its inaugural Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Ilesa, Osun State, to reinforce its mission of unity, networking, and community development.

The event, presided over by the club’s president, ESV Pastor Dr. Victor Makanjuola Ayeye, provided an opportunity for members to discuss strategies for advancing their shared vision of bringing positive development to Ijesaland .

Dr. Ayeye expressed his gratitude to members for their commitment and dedication highlighting the purpose of the club in fostering collaboration among individuals of shared values and heritage in Ijesaland.

“We put together this club because we are like minds of the same age group and base, which is Ijesaland. Beyond knowing ourselves from afar, we realized the need to come together to network, collaborate, and give back to society through corporate social responsibility,” he said.

Dr. Ayeye also urged members to increase their financial contributions and commitment, stressing the importance of collective effort. “No matter how intelligent or rich you are, if you don’t have people around you, you cannot move mountains. That’s why our slogan, ‘Stronger Together,’ resonates so well with us,” he stated.

The IOC president encouraged members to invite like-minded individuals to join the club, noting that expanding membership would enhance its impact on Ijesaland.
