UK Institute of Information Management Confers Honorary Fellowship on Elerinmo of Erinmo-Ijesa

The Institute of Information Management (IIM), United Kingdom, has conferred the prestigious title of Honorary Fellow (FIIM) on The Elerinmo of Erinmo-Ijesa Oba (Dr) Michael Odunayo Ajayi, Arowotawaya II, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to leadership, community development, and national progress.

In an official letter dated June 9 and signed by the Chairman of the Membership Committee, Dr. Paul T.E. Adebayo , the IIM announced that Oba Ajayi will also serve as the Royal Father of the Day at the Institute’s 2025 Annual Conference, Induction, and Investiture Ceremony scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 14, at The Wesley Euston Methodist International Centre, London.

The nomination and subsequent approval were endorsed by the IIM Executive Council, who described the dual recognition as a testament to the monarch’s distinguished impact both within Nigeria and internationally.

Since its establishment in 2010, the IIM Honorary Fellowship has been awarded to globally respected leaders including Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, and Dr. Saheed Ademola Elegushi, among others.
