Honourable Sanmi Areoye has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the overall welfare of the people of Atakumosa East and West State Constituency through the launch of a free medical outreach and empowerment programme.
The initiative, which began on Wednesday in Osu, Atakumosa West Local Government headquarters, continued today in Iperindo, the headquarters of Atakumosa East Local Government with the programme set to conclude on Friday in Ifewara.
Hon. Areoye explained that the programme, which focuses on providing free medical care and empowerment opportunities, is part of his vision to enhance the standard of living for his constituents. Under the medical outreach, residents receive free general medical care, eye care, and dental services.
Hon. Areoye said “We started yesterday at Osu, today we were in Iperindo, and tomorrow, we will be at Ifewara. This medical outreach is for everyone, particularly the people of Atakumosa East and West State Constituency. I urge everyone to come out in large numbers to benefit from this initiative.”
Beneficiaries of the programme at Iperindo including Mrs. Ogunrinde Victoria and Mama Cecilia Ibiyemi, expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Areoye for prioritizing their well-being and making healthcare services accessible to all.
Beyond healthcare, the programme also includes several empowerment initiatives such as Distribution of gasoline brush cutters to all secondary schools in the constituency, Provision of exercise books for secondary school students, Distribution of table gas cookers and cylinders to selected households, Donation of knapsack sprayers and herbicides to farmers to boost agricultural productivity, Launch of the “Sanmi Sisters” cash gift and donation programme, Registration of 100 patients under the Osun Health Insurance Scheme (OHIS).
Hon. Areoye emphasized that these efforts align with his mission to improve the welfare of his people and called on residents to continue supporting the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, whom he praised for delivering good governance across Osun State.
