The families of Ajilore and Adewoye have announced the funeral arrangements for their beloved matriarch, Yeye Oba Janet Oyekola Ajilore (née Adewoye), who passed away at the age of 95.
A Release issued by the children of the Deceased indicates that the funeral rites will commence with a Service of Songs and Commendation on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Mama’s House, Baba Aji’s Compound, located beside Michael’s Suite Garden, along Ido-Ijasa with the service scheduled to begin at 2 PM.
It adds that A Wake-Keep Service will follow on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 4 PM at V6b, Isona, Ilesa.
The Burial Service will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 10 AM at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Isona, Ilesa, followed by the interment at St. Peter’s Private Cemetery.
A grand entertainment of guests will be held at Zanabab Hotel Moon Resort, Ijebu-Jesa Road, Ilesa, after the burial.
